When you or someone you love has a cancer diagnosis, it is normal to feel overwhelmed. You may experience feelings of anger, sadness, fear and low mood.
You may experience these feelings at any stage, when you get a diagnosis, during treatment or when you are adjusting to life after cancer.
We have a team of trained volunteers and emotional support professionals. We have peaceful/private rooms, where you can talk openly and take as much time as you need.
If you would prefer the privacy of a private room and one of our professional team – just ask when you drop in, or make an appointment in advance.
We can also provide specific support such as counselling, one to one Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions as required.
For the first time I felt I was able to cry, to not be judged and to take my brave face off. For all of this, I left feeling much better.
