When you or someone you love has a cancer diagnosis, it is normal to feel overwhelmed. You may experience feelings of anger, sadness, fear and low mood.
You may experience these feelings at any stage, when you get a diagnosis, during treatment or when you are adjusting to life after cancer.
We are here to listen, and you can be honest with how you’re feeling.
We make a good cup of tea, have boxes of tissues to hand, and we have quiet rooms, where you can take as much time as you like.
The centre is quiet and relaxing, which is just what is needed for a centre of this nature. Its a good place to just sit and talk.
All of our team at Macmillan Jersey are trained to listen and you can drop in at any time. There is always someone here to talk to.
Some people may benefit from seeing one of our support workers or counsellors and we can make an appointment for you here at The Oasis. Like all our services, this is free of charge and confidential.
