If you or a loved one is affected by cancer, it’s important to make time for yourself. We offer a range of complementary therapies and weekly exercise / wellbeing classes.
Complementary therapies can play a role in reducing stress as well as helping people feel more positive and in control. They can help you to relax, as well as offering relief from symptoms such as pain, insomnia, nausea and fatigue. Our free services include aromatherapy massage, reflexology, Reiki and craniosacral therapy. Every patient and carer/family member is entitled to at least six sessions within any year.
Exercise and wellbeing classes at The Oasis
We offer a free weekly yoga class from 7pm to 8 pm every Tuesday. Please call us to reserve a place.
There is a free Thai Chi class with Marilyn on Thursdays from 4.15pm to 5pm. Please call us to reserve a place.
Dr Meera offers a free Lunchtime Relaxation class from 1pm to 2pm on Tuesdays. Please just drop in.
We also offer Caring With Awareness Mindfulness sessions. Please check with a member of the team for dates and times.
