At The Oasis, our cancer support and wellbeing centre, we have Macmillan professionals who can offer emotional support, as well as a team of trained volunteers. We have peaceful/private rooms where you can talk openly and take as much time as you need.

Our Macmillan professionals can also refer you to our counsellors or other local services.

The Oasis is a drop-in centre which is open Monday to Friday from 10am. Alternatively, you can book an appointment by calling 01534 498188 (option 1). Out of hours appointment can be arranged.

Finding it tough after treatment finishes?

Your experience of cancer might have made you feel out of control of your life. You may still be experiencing physical and emotional changes. It can take time to readjust and those around you might not understand how you are feeling.

We know that it can take time and our support continues well beyond the end of your treatment. We are here to help you adjust to life after cancer.

HOPE is a course developed by Macmillan Cancer Support and Coventry University to support you after cancer treatment. It can help you rediscover your strengths and overcome the emotional and practical challenges of life after cancer. You can also share your experiences and get support from other people going through the same thing. You don’t have to face it alone. Each is run by a health and social care professional and a trained volunteer.

HOPE can help you:

• Regain your confidence so you feel more like yourself

• Use relaxation techniques for your mind and body

• Cope with anger, anxiety, depression and uncertainty handle stressful situations

• Plan for the future

• Use your potential to make the most of your life
