With over a decade of experience in the Creative Industry, Jodie is a formally trained Oil Painter and Flame-worked Glass Artist. After having studied Fine Art to postgraduate level, she has worked locally and internationally as a practising artist, most recently offering Art Consultancy both privately and in conjunction with her role as Architectural Technician at Godel Architects for Percentage for Art public art schemes.

After completing her MFA, she worked as an Artist in Residence at Five Star Luxury Hotel, and Conde Nast Traveller’s Gold List,’ Borgo Santo Pietro - which epitomises a ‘farm to plate’ ethos, from cooking to in-house perfume making, much akin to her own preference for drawing inspiration from the natural world… be it through form, material choice, local heritage or conceptual embodiment.

Her latest jewellery range, titled R'vénîn - The standard Jerriais verb for "to return" or "to come back" - draws on these references and inspirations, while signifying the sense of home and community she has found while living at Greve de Lecq. Her bronze pieces reflect the geological references of the landscape there, and the duality of its tidal movements, and quiet calm of the still days between the storms.’
