Lauren is our Chief Clinical Officer and joined the charity in 2013 as our Cancer support specialist/Centre Manager.

Lauren holds a Degree and Masters in Radiotherapy and Oncology and worked as an Advanced Therapeutic Radiographer at The Christie in Manchester, one of the largest cancer hospitals in Europe.

Over the past 8 years Lauren has worn many ‘hats’ for Macmillan Jersey, remodelling both the physical environment (designing The Oasis), and its service operating model to include volunteer-led support and wellbeing services. Lauren has seen the charity evolve and grow significantly due to projects she implemented, and it is for this reason that the Macmillan Jersey board of Directors appointed Lauren as CEO in April 2016, to lead all aspects of the charity, ensure its sustainability and develop its growth. As of February 2021, Lauren stepped down as CEO and has moved into a more clinical role.
